Newtown (Johannesburg) – South African hip hop sensation, Kwesta will support the “We Run This City” movement in Johannesburg on Sunday, 09 August 2015 by serenading runners and walkers once they’ve completed the much anticipated Totalsports Women’s Race at the Mary Fitzgerald Square.
“I think it is vital to rally up as many runners, walkers and supports as possible,” says Senzo Vilakazi of Kwesta. “We need to bring to the fore, celebrate and acknowledge the importance of women across the world and the role that they play in society. Totalsports Women’s Race participants can look forward to a lot of energy fuelled by celebratory music, a fresh perspective on our accomplishments. It will be fun”.
Taking place on National Women’s Day, the Totalsports Women’s Race supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering services to women across South Africa.
